Hytte Nord is a charred-pine cabin raised among the birches of Lofoten, built for long light in June and a longer darkness in December. Its interiors are lined in pale spruce and warmed by a single cast-iron stove.
Each bedroom is oriented north, toward the fjord and the aurora. A private jetty below the house is used for swimming in August and for watching the lights in February.
